In this tutorial I will show you how to upgrade centos 7.2 from 7.1 . Centos 7.2 has been released. Centos 7.2 is latest version of centos. We can upgrade our Centos 7.0 or 7.1 to Centos 7.2. Check Centos current version

First thing is we need to check Current Centos version by following command:

cat /etc/redhat-release                              or
cat /etc/centos-release

Upgrade Centos 7

Now we will start upgrading our Centos. Follow the steps to upgrade your Centos

yum update -y

After successful updation of all package reboot your system

reboot

Verify Latest Version

After reboot please verify that Centos has been updated properly.

cat /etc/redhat-release
CentOS Linux release 7.2.1511 (Core)
                           or
cat /etc/centos-release
CentOS Linux release 7.2.1511 (Core)

You Centos has been updated and also verified.
